Hank Bardel, Green Party Candidate for Congress Demonstrates and Marches  on May Day
Hank Bardel, the Green Party Candidate for Congress from the 11th Congressional District of New York State which includes Staten Island and part of Brooklyn, demonstrated at Union Square Park along with thousands of people from Occupy Wall Street, Union members, Students, Peace Activists and Green Party members. The entire park was filled with people wall to wall. The 99% were demanding real democracy, peace, justice and a more equitable redistribution of wealth.
 Around 5PM, the activists organized a march down Broadway. They filled the street curb to curb with thousands of marches as far as the eye could see. There were floats,signs, dancers, music and bands  who walked from Union Square to the Business district in downtown Manhattan demanding a Real Change. Hank Bardel marched from Union Square Park to downtown Manhattan in support of all these demands.
